1st Violin. Leslie Scarlett is currently
pursuing a music degree at the University of Michigan School of Music. She began studying the violin 15 years ago, beginning
in the Suzuki Method of music which lead her to numerous performances and other music-making all over the metro-Detroit area.
She joined the Four Seasons Quartet two years ago and loves the opportunity to share music with so many people. Leslie plans
to graduate in 2005 with a B.M. in music education.
2nd Violin. Amy Benson has played the violin
for 20 years. She grew up playing in the Detroit Metropolitan Youth Symphony, and later studied the violin at Brigham
Young University. Amy has performed with Lauren Charbinaux, violinist, and Leslie Bluhm, harpist, of the Dallas
Symphony Orchestra. Amy created and managed a string quartet while in college, and its success led her to her current
role as manager of The Four Seasons String Quartet. She also currently teaches violin lessons.
Viola. Bethany Snow has been an avid violist
since the 4th grade. She is the 1st chair violist in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony. She has studied
the viola at the internationally acclaimed Interlochen School for the Performing Arts, where she also sat 1st chair.
Bethany currently studies the viola under Glen Mellow, member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Cello. Nathan Jasinski has a bachelor's in cello performance
from Brigham Young University, he has a masters of cello performance at Arizona State University, and he is currently
working on a cello doctorate program at the University of Michigan.
